Hybrid Learning Systems web-based portal software solution will be used at DevLearn 2009 to support an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) being conducted at the conference. The game, titled “Zombie Apocalypse”, is being used to teach people the benefits of using social media in learning environments through a collection of clues that are found at the conference, through a Twitter feed or through a number of other channels. Players must form teams and discover these clues that contain a code that is entered through a mobile phone or the web portal.
